The Good
The pork knuckle was roasted perfectly. Skin was extremely crispy and crunchy. The meat inside was very tender and juicy. Only downside was the overly-saltiness of the outside bits.
The mash potatoes was also near perfect. Very smooth and buttery, just melts in your mouth. Would’ve benefitted from being a bit more moist though.
The Mediocre
TThe bratwurst was nice, but I personally think there’s nothing too remarkable about it. It was seasoned and flavoured perfectly but nothing made the sausages stand out from others.
The sauerkraut was nice and soft. Very flavourful but again this was on the too salty side.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
Yes. I’m down for the pork knuckle again no doubt.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Maybe. I’d definitely go back for just the chips though. For burgers, I think I still prefer Cafe 51, Rockwell or Grand Trailer.
