The Good
I love drumsticks. And marylands. Somehow, somewhere, I got 7 pieces of drumsticks and 2 pieces of Maryland. No tough, dry nor chewy breast to be found! Yasssss!
The crumb was crunchy as it came straight out of the fryer. Good flavours of Classic KFC spices throughout the batter. The drumsticks were also very meaty, which was a plus.
The Mediocre
There was wayyyyyyy too much oil. Seriously. The box was drenched in oil after I was done.
The chicken pieces weren’t particularly fresh either, which I guess was expected from KFC.
The Bad
The wait was borderline ridiculous. 15+ minutes for fried chicken. Really? It’s a fast food joint!
The Verdict
Overall a very decent and affordable cheat meal, mainly due to it coming fresh out of the fryer.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Yes. Just don’t make me wait 15 minutes in line for fast food though!
