The Good
The wow factor were strong with these ice creams. They looked amazing, especially the ferrero with its wafer sticks.
The gaytime topping was quite nice. It had a good solid crunch texture and contrasted the smooth ice cream. The caramel sauce also brought everything together.
The Mediocre
The ferrero was nothing special sadly. The Nutella on top was nice, but then again when is Nutella ever not nice. The hazelnut ice cream didn’t carry much flavour and became rather bland as the devouring progressed. Wafer sticks were very ordinary, just an eye candy unfortunately.
The Bad
Not much. Just expected a lot more given how great they looked.
The Verdict
A great looker, but really lacks finesse in terms of flavours and taste. Also, it is on the pricey side.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Maybe, but less likely as I can get two similar sized gelato from Pipdapipo for the price of one. Also, I know it will taste amazing.
