The Good
Not too much unfortunately. The ingredients were mostly fresh but the goodness pretty much ends there
The Mediocre
The cheese steak was rather ordinary. Given how amazing their Reuben is, I thought I would try something new.
The waffles were also way too soft. It was pretty much an over glorified pancake. There was no crispy outer crust that any genuine waffle would have.
The fried chicken pieces were over-fried to say the least. This resulted in a all-too hard, teeth breaking batter that enclosed dry, tough and unseasoned chicken meat. The herb flavoured whipped butter did little to add to the dish as it was simultaneously too oily and tasteless. Honestly anything from KFC would be an improvement.
The Bad
The Mac and Cheese was downright terrible. While the top was cheesy and extremely chewy and stringy, anything under the top layer was bland, mushy and almost completely void of cheese. The macaroni itself was way too soft and overcooked. Extremely disappointing.

The Verdict
Overall a colossal disappointment of a meal. I have bought and eaten from this establishment previously and it had always been a pleasant experience. Guess the weekend chef just has absolutely no idea what they are doing!
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Weekdays? Maybe.
Weekends? Most definitely not. No way in hell is it okay to serve such bad food and charge this price.
