The Good

The chicken burger was pretty close to perfect. The bun was a toasted brioche that was relatively airy and didn’t carry too overpowering of a butter flavour.

The fried chicken was fresh out of the frier, and comprised of a tasty, crunchy outer batter enclosing a thick piece of juicy and perfectly cooked chicken meat. The seasoning was spot on and didn’t mask any flavours. It’s all there for you to taste.

Unsurprisingly, the crunchy fried chicken went rather well with the long strip bacon which again was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of burnt bits with the fatty bits carrying a slight crunch.

This, combined with the mushy and flavourful avocado, made for a divine chicken burger that was juicy and very messy. This chicken burger is one of the best I’ve tasted though, both in flavour and texture balance.

The Mediocre

The beef patties, while carrying a strong beef flavour, wasn’t of high quality unfortunately. The beef itself was on the tough side and this was made worse with the abundance of pepper used within the seasoning. It’s like eating a minced version of a cheap pepper steak. However this burger was saved by the cheese and bacon, with both plentiful, cooked well and of good quality.

The wings were a bit disappointing though. They were honestly nothing more than some plain chicken wings, with some BBQ sauce and hot sauce slapped on the top and grilled in the oven. Nothing at all special or noteworthy and is something one can easily cook up at home.

The milkshake was fine. The Oreo was chunky. The milk was thick. However it lacked a special something something that made it stand out. Yes it was a decent shake in its own right, but nothing spectacular. At all.

The Bad

Nothing.

The Verdict

Overall an absolutely spot on Chicken burger but mediocre everything else.

Not that anything was bad in any way, just unspectacular.
