  • Pork Meat Balls with Funnel, Sage, Orange
  • Red Tomato based sauce
  • White Cream based sauce
  • House Pasta (Pappardelle)

The Good

The meatballs of course were the highlight. The pork was heavily spiced with herbs and as a resulted was extraordinarily aromatic and flavourful, even before you begin to chew on them. The meat itself was tender and juicy with just the right amount of fat mixed in. Unprocessed and original mince that was simply perfect.

The sauces were also delicious, with the red sauce carrying rich and bold tomato flavour that wasn’t too sweet nor sour. Combined with the ultra creamy and cheesy white sauce resulted in an awesome combination that just begs for more spoonfuls. As the flavours for both sauces weren’t overly bold, this induced me to pile on the sauce. Heavily

The Mediocre

While the pasta itself was of high quality and cooked well to just the right softness, it was let down by being a delivery order in that the pasta started clumping together. Tragic really because this would’ve otherwise been as delicious as the above components.

The Bad

Nothing.

The Verdict

Overall a delicious pasta with sublime meatballs. Really some of the best meatballs I’ve had. Would be a real winner if not for the takeaway.
