The Good
Ingredients were fresh and the meats was plentiful. Portion sizes were large and presents good value for money.
The Mediocre
The flavours of the dishes overall were rather unspectacular.
The laksa was way too spicy without much other flavours to back it up. The chilli overpowered all else and rendered the soup and noodles rather tasteless otherwise.
The curry tasted like it was made from a single spice. No other garnish nor accompaniments were found despite much poking around within the sauce. Shame really as some potatoes or carrots could’ve added much more variety in flavour and texture. The chicken was cooked well and had strong curry aromas though.

Nothing.
The Verdict
Overall a half decent asian joint that was cheap and uninspiring. Good for a quick and cheap feed but not much else.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Maybe. There are plenty other joints to try nearby though.
