The Good
The cake was exceptionally soft and spongy. Baked to the perfect amount of fluffiness. It had a great egg aroma combined with muted buttery flavour which was spot on. Just like in Hong Kong.
The Mediocre
Unfortunately they made it a bit too sweet this time round. Just a tad too much sugar but otherwise flavour was perfect.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
Overall I would say this is the best sponge paper cake in Melbourne bar none. I would love to try what itโs like when itโs literally fresh out of their oven though.
