The Good
The soft serve itself was undoubtedly the highlight. Rich in flavour, it had an extremely thick and creamy consistency, almost akin to an authentic Italian gelato. The smoothness of the soft serve was rather remarkable, as was the boldness of the hazelnut flavour. Combined with the crunchy waffle cone, it was a thoroughly enjoyable ice cream.
The Mediocre
Let's not kid ourselves. That fairy floss served little purpose other than being an eye candy. Quite literally. The additional sweetness from the sugar was unnecessary and failed to contribute anything flavour-wise to the soft serve.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
Overall, it was one of the better soft serves I've had. The creaminess and consistency is not dissimilar to Milkcow, though the flavour was much more palatable and bolder.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Yes, it was rather enjoyable. Though, I still much prefer traditional Italian gelato.
