The Good
For the mere price of around $5, you can’t get a much bigger feed than this. The two huge rice buns were tight packed and piping hot. However it’s quickly evident that this was just plain ordinary rice, as opposed to sushi rice that’s light coated with vinegar.
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
Yes, the size may be huge, but the taste was severely lacking. Both the rice and the croquette itself were exceedingly bland. The potato within the croquette was unseasoned and mushy. This was not helped by a cheap mayo that was liberally drizzled within. It was pretty much a huge ball of sloppy mess that didn’t offer anything in flavour nor texture.
The Verdict
While it may be a cheap feed and the huge ‘buns’ of rice may satisfy your hunger, the taste was disappointingly lacking on all counts. For those that are looking for food that actually tastes half-decent, we can only recommend looking elsewhere.
