The Good
The simple yet perfect Beats Burger was just delicious. Within the soft fluffy, the star that stole the show was of course the beef patty itself. Perfectly fried with a slight crispness thanks to the charred outer, the coarse ground comprising of several different cuts of beef made for an incredibly flavoursome, juicy and very tender experience. A generous helping of flavoursome cheese was melted on top of the patty, while fresh leaves of lettuce and slices of tomato added a refreshing sensation to the burger. Coupled with a tasty “special sauce” and the pleasant sweetness of caramelised onion jam, the simply, humble cheeseburger just doesn’t get much better than Beats’ rendition.
On the other end of the spectrum was our modified Notorious PIG. Loaded with a huge serving of pulled pork, plenty of bacon and modified with an extra Mac and Cheese Patty, this tall burger was a sight to behold. The pulled pork itself was tasty and full of flavour, slightly smokey and with a good amount of sweetness that complemented without overwhelming the savoury sensations. The Mac and cheese patty was so decadent and rich, it’s crisp, crusty outer making for a cheesy sensation. Our only gripe would be for the pulled pork itself, which could’ve benefited with more moisture to create a more juicy experience.
Our Loaded Hot Dog certainly didn’t disappoint either. Front and centre stood the sizeable American Frankfurt, it’s signature red skin brightly contrasting the vibrant colours of melted cheese and spring onion. The hot dog bun was soft and fluffy, while maintaining good structural integrity as we ate our way through this meaty American goodness. Coupled with the creaminess of liquid cheese and the crispness of the fried bacon bits, this was one hot dog that certainly did not disappoint.

Despite the overwhelming number of burger joints in Melbourne, Beats Burger has made it incredibly easy to pick the spot for your next cheat meal.
The simple yet perfect Beats Burger is a testament to owner Marco’s philosophy when opening Beats Burger – Offering incredible value and a quality product. And boy has he absolutely nailed it!

You can count on it! Seriously, this was one of the best cheeseburgers in Melbourne and you better try it for yourself to believe it!
