The Good

The Caspian Special was absolutely phenomenal. The two giant kebabs of Minced Lamb and Grilled Chicken say front and centre of the huge platter. On either side sat a generous helping of saffron rice and a crisp salad. The Minced Lamb was well-spiced and very tender, with a slight bouncy feedback with each bite. Meanwhile, the Grilled Chicken exhibited a lightly charred, crisp outer. The beautiful flavour from the charcoal grill permeated through the incredibly succulent and tender protein, this was the definition perfectly cooked chicken!

We also enjoyed the Barberry Rice with Chicken. The Chicken Maryland was probably the biggest cut we’ve ever come across. Digging in reveals protein that simply fell apart with the push of a fork. The protein carried much flavour from the rich tomato base that it was cooked in. This coupled with a dollop of the same sauce, only thicker, concentrated and much more intense, made every bite as resist able as the next. The barberry rice mix was sweet and fragrant, though at times felt a tad too sweet for our palate.

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad

Nothing.

The Verdict

This was definitely one of the best kebabs we’ve ever come across, and undoubtedly the tastiest Persian/Iranian cuisine we have ever tasted.

The generously sized portions, fresh ingredients and perfect execution made this an unforgettable experience.

For a mere $20, one of these platters could’ve easily satiated two hungry guys!
