The Good
It was an impressive start to our meal with such a gorgeous spread of Thai dishes all arriving at once.
The Crispy Pork with Chinese Broccoli was simply delicious. Stir fried in oyster sauce, the fresh crisp stems and juicy, fresh leaves of the Chinese broccoli was perfectly accompanied by chunky pieces of pork. Each piece of juicy, fatty pork had an amazing crackle, offering a satisfying crunch with each bite.
We also enjoyed the Green Curry. Rich and creamy, the curry was flavoursome and aromatic. A good amount of spice really turned up the heat, and within, the chunks of fresh veggies and tender chicken certainly made for a hearty feed.
The Grilled Pork Neck was equally delicious. This exceptional cut of pork is commonly used in Asian cooking thanks to its juicy and almost crunchy sensation. The lightly charred outer made the slices of pork exceptionally fragrant, and the flavour was simply irresistible.
No Thai feast can be complete without a Pineapple Fried Rice. The fried rice carried great flavour and was well accompanied by plenty of seafood including prawns and calamari. The occasional chunks of pineapple within provided an excellent burst of sweetness, though we found the fried rice a bit too wet and not as crumbly as we would’ve liked.
We rounded off the meal with a Pandan Crepe Cake. The gorgeous cake was so soft and delicate, it’s Pandan flavour forward and well balanced in sweetness. This was nicely paired with a scoop of beautiful coconut ice cream, a signature, age-old pairing.
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
For a tasty and quick Thai feed that’s bound to satisfy your tastebuds, you need not look further.
The affordable pricing combined with tasty, well-executed dishes make this a great all rounder in the CBD.
