The Good
The simple yet elegant Hummus Platter was just flawless. The gorgeous, generous helping of hummus was beautifully presented. The creamy, earthy sensation was nicely paired by tahini mixed within as well as chickpeas scattered around. With a tad of chilli and a swirl of olive oil, the fresh, fluffy pita was just the perfect vehicle to mop up this delectable dip.
Another highlight was the Spiced Angus Rib. The giant beef short rib stood front and centre of the dish. The sticky glaze was topped with fragrant and aromatic spices, and falling easily away with the push of a fork, the protein was so incredibly tender and juicy. The bold, meaty sensation was nicely paired with a hint of sweetness from the glaze, and it’s richness was juxtaposed by the fluffy turmeric almond couscous siting underneath. Just divine.
We also enjoyed the Falafels. The brittle, crunchy outer crumbled away and revealed a light yet fluffy inner of chickpea. The well-spiced and very aromatic mixture was simply delicious, and made even better with a touch of tahini offering a hint of creamy goodness.
We rounded off our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. This gorgeous dessert was every bit as sweet and indulgent as it looked. The exceptional, silky smooth chocolate mousse had an amazing chocolate flavour without being overly sweet nor bitter. It’s smooth, creamy texture was contrasted by the crunchy biscuit crumbs and light and crispy kadaif noodles. Coupled with a divine, house-made peanut butter halva, this was one dessert we couldn’t say no to!
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
It was a thoroughly delicious Middle-Eastern feast from start to finish.
Wither you are here for a quick and simple lunch option such as pita their pockets, or for a three-course dinner carefully plated up, rest assured you are bound to be satisfied in every way possible.
Their hummus? Well that’s simply a must!
