The Good

It was off to a tasty start with the Sauté Di Cozzee. The generous helping of mussels were cooked in a delicious, fresh tomato base with fennel and and baby spinach. The sweet and tasty sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the fresh mussels.

We also enjoyed the Tagliatelle Allo Zafferano Con Ragu Di Agnello. More simply known as the the lamb ragu, the pasta was simply stunning. With a melt-in-your-mouth softened, the succulent and juicy chunks of lamb was bold on flavour and was nicely paired with fresh, al dente egg pasta. Served with an abundance of crisp, fresh peas and finished in a light yet fragrant white wine sauce, this very appetising pasta was a definite must try.

The highlight of our meal must be the Porchetta. Roasted in old roman style, the amazing cracking surrounding the outer of the pork belly created a satisfying crunch with each bite. Within, the bold, porky flavour we just sensational, made even better thanks to the amazing juiciness and tenderness of the pork itself. While we felt that the sweetness of the apple purée distracted away from the savoury flavours of the porchetta, the fresh, textured shredded brussel sprouts was the perfect accompaniment to the rich, flavoursome pork

Delivered straight from their woodfired oven, the Tartufata was a sight to behold. With a truffle and mushroom cream base, the incredibly flavoursome and very fragrant pizza was made even better thanks to the well-spiced Italian sausage and plenty of porcini mushrooms. With melted fior di latte scattered throughout and toppled with prosciutto, this was an amazing combination of flavour that just kept begging to one more bite. Holding it altogether was the thin, crisp base and a puffy outer crust. Delicious.

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad

Nothing.
