The Good
It was off to a tasty start with the Kangaroo Skewers. Lightly seared with a slightly charred aroma, the medium rare kangaroo protein was cooked to perfection. With a hint of chewy sensation, the tender and juicy kangaroo offered up amazing flavour and was nicely paired with earthy diced beetroot and a spicy dressing.
We also enjoyed the Eggplant Chips and Arancini. The eggplant chips had an exceptionally crisp, crunchy batter that enclosed a gooey inner, well paired with a sweet chilli sauce that most definitely turned up the heat.
The Arancini didn’t disappoint either. These sizeable, crisp balls had a soft, cheesy inner that was nicely accompanied by a sweet and fragrant tomato base.
The Hanger Steak was most definitely the highlight of our meal. Cooked to a perfect medium, the still-pink inner was absolutely delicious. With a slightly chewy texture that was still tender, each bite just created more and more exceptional, beefy flavours. With its charred outer, this was easily the best hanger steak we’ve come across.
The Porterhouse wasn’t bad either. Cooked to similar perfection, this cut was slightly less flavourful though definitely more tender and succulent.
Our Duck Ragu certainly did not disappoint. The rigatoni was cooked to al dente, with just a tad of chewiness and perfectly coated in a beautifully aromatic and very appetising duck ragu sauce. The rich tomato base was well mixed with amazingly soft pulled duck, and paired with olives and tomatoes, this was a very appetising pasta indeed.
The Mediocre
The Pumpkin Gnocchi didn’t quite impress like the others. The gnocchi itself was mostly fine, though was tad too soft and gooey for our liking. Unfortunately, the dish was definitely lacking flavour-wise, and carried just a tinge of sweetness throughout.
The Bad
Nothing.

While the service may be lacking at times, the quality, fresh produce more than makes up for any shortcomings. Coupled with frequently offered discounts, it’s hard to believe they aren’t more busy!
