- Nasi Lemak Burger
The Good
Nothing.
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
The Nasi Lemak Burger was such a disappointment. Starting with the bun, which were two pieces of thick, chewy cardboard. Stale, rock hard, and microwaved to within an inch of its life.
The Fried Chicken didn’t fare much better. Dry and over-fried, the chicken was neither crispy nor juicy.
Thankfully they didn’t screw up the simple fried egg, and the spicy sambal, crunchy peanuts and mayo helped the chicken a little and made it possible to wolf down. Of course, most of the bun was left untouched.
The Verdict
This venue was undoubtedly the worst Papparich we’ve visited. Located at Southern Cross Station and choking with diesel fumes, it’s unfortunate that food here was not any better than the environment.
This was the single worst burger we’ve ever, ever had, and judging from others patrons sitting around, you shouldn’t bother arriving expecting an authentic Malaysian experience, cause you are in for nothing but disappointment.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Not. A. Chance. Don’t waste your time, calories or money here.
Penguineats dined complimentary of Papparich.
