The Good
Dished up almost instantly, their incredibly efficient system allowed for our piping hot bowls of noodles to be served within a minute of sitting down.
Our Spicy Braised Noodle Soup with thick noodles did not disappoint one bit. Topped with Mala Chilli, the incredibly aromatic and fragrant chillies made for a spicy and tingly sensation. The noodles within were cooked just right, the al dente texture gradually got softer as we dug in. The hearty and flavoursome broth provided plenty of flavour and was well matched by the spices. The exceptionally tender and flavourful beef slices were plentiful and delicious, well paired with plenty of coriander and daikon.
The Lanzhou Handmade Beef Noodle Soup didn’t disappoint either. The once again beautiful broth was more apparent and forward without the chilli, making for a light yet fragrant experience. The thinner noodles here were silky smooth, incredibly fresh and plentiful. Just delicious.

With an almost irresistible aroma wafting around each of their stores, Lanzhou Beef Noodle Bar has been on our to-do for a long time, and boy are we glad we did!
From the beautifully hand made noodles, flavourful broth, quality beef, efficient service and affordable price point, this is definitely a must try for those craving something quick and warm.
