  • Saigon Pork Chop Broken Rice

The Good

We thoroughly enjoyed the Shaking Beef Rice. The beef was an instant standout. The tender soy and garlic scotch fillet beef was cooked to perfection, so tender and juicy with an amazing sauce that perfectly accompanied the beefy flavours. Stir fried with various veggies, the appetising flavours were nicely matched with a fragrant tomato infused rice that was sweet and fluffy. The sunny fried egg was of course a bonus, and the runny yolk held it all together.

The Saigon Pork Chop Broken Rice wasn’t bad either. The grilled Saigon Lemongrass pork chop was done perfectly, the charred outer created a hint of crispness that enclosed a meaty and tender inner. The Vietnamese styled pork loaf was light yet tasty, served with broken rice that wasn’t quite as crumbly enough however.

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad

Nothing.

The Verdict

Situated in the heart of the CBD, Co Hanh is a great spot for a quick Vietnamese inspired lunch. While the execution may not be strictly authentic, the flavours were definitely on point and the dishes were certainly enjoyable.
