The Good

No doubt the signature dish of the evening was also our favourite. The Wagyu Nabe featured thinly sliced, rolls of raw Wagyu Beef accompanied by a boiling hot pot. Within the pot was a tofu, mushroom and mixed veggies all served in a lightly sweet and savoury soy-based broth. Each slice of the wagyu took a quick dip into the boiling broth and was ready for consumption, making for a juicy, tender experience that was full of beefy goodness!

We also enjoyed the Sashimi Platter. The platter was beautifully presented, loaded with fresh, quality cuts of salmon, tuna and kingfish. The protein was tender yet form, without so much of a hint of fishy sensation nor stringy texture. Clearly these cuts were of top quality and we thoroughly enjoyed every piece.

The Fried Whole Flounder was an impressive sight. The lightly battered outer offered a hint of crispness. Within, the protein was juicy and tender, it’s softness beautifully contrasting with the crispier bits of the outer skin. Accompanied by a sweet and tangy sauce, this made for a very scrumptious and tasty dish.
