The Good

We thoroughly enjoyed the Italiana Panini. For our two meats, opted for mortadella and mild salami, which was beautifully accompanied by the zesty and refreshing basil pesto. This was accompanied by fresh leaves of rocket offering a hint of bitterness, which was balanced by the semi dried tomatoes. With slices of plump eggplants and zucchini providing juicy goodness and all sandwiched between the fresh focaccia, this was an absolutely flavourful and loaded Panini that delivered on all fronts.

We also loved the Parma Panini. Of course the beautiful prosciutto di Parma was the absolute highlight. The delicate, thinly sliced cured ham was tender and silky, with a beautiful porky flavour that was nicely accompanied by the sharp provolone cheese. The sweetness of the tomato pesto was pleasant, though definitely less forward and flavourful as the basil pesto. All in all still a very delicious sandwich.

We also enjoyed the Cornetti. This traditional Italian croissant was baked with an imported dough direct from Italy. The light yet crusty outer offered a slight flakiness and a beautiful pillowy texture inner. This was filled with a home made custard that was neither too sweet nor rich. Perfect with a coffee!

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad

Nothing.
