The Good
It was a fantastic start to our brunch with the Falafel Bowl. Artfully presented and surrounding one half of the bowl, the vibrant colours were inviting. Digging in, we realized the falafels were an absolute delight. The crisp, crunchy outer that was perfectly fried and golden, givinggway to a light, fluffy and earthy inner that effortlessly crumbled away in your mouth. This was nicely accompanied by a light yet tasty cucumber and grain fattoush salad. With chunks of blisters halloumi adding a hit of salty goodness, as well as the creamy pumpkin hummus holding everything together, this is the dish that exemplifies the qualities of Middle-Eastern cuisine.
We also enjoyed the gigantic Beef Burger. Standing tall and loaded with cheese and sauce, the burger was a sight to behold. The 2x wagyu beef patties were thick and juicy, offering plenty of flavour and a flavourful goodness with a light peppered seasoning. The simple tomato and lettuce worked a treat when combined with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. Not to be missed was the rich, creamy mayo and a generous helping melted cheese that held it altogether. All sandwiched between toasted, burteye brioche and served with a side of perfectly fried, crunchy golden chips, this burger surely did not disappoint.
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
Nothing.
