The Good
The Gnocchi in the Lamb Shoulder Potato Gnocchi was the standout. House-made, it lived up to the promise of being soft, fluffy, and pillowy. It had that comforting, melt-in-the-mouth texture you want from fresh pasta. The lamb shoulder chunks were also a highlightโplentiful in the serving and cooked down to a lovely tender softness that fell apart easily.
The Mediocre
The sauce was fragrant and looked appetising, but it ultimately lacked punch. It felt like it was missing a little something to tie it all togetherโperhaps a stronger tomato base or a bit more acidity to cut through the richness. It wasn’t bad, just a bit one-note.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
A very decent, filling, and comforting feed. If they dialed up the intensity of the sauce, this would be a winner. As it stands, it’s a solid option for a winter lunch, but perhaps not a memorable flavor bomb.
