Food
- Chicken Saag
- Goat Curry
- Pain Naan
- Plain Roti
The Good
Nothing really.
The Mediocre
Pretty much everything was ‘just fine’. Nothing was outstanding, good nor bad. Both curries were on the mild side.
The saag could’ve had more flavour and seemed a bit watered down. The tenderness of the chicken however saved this dish.
The goat curry overall was not bad. Fairly aromatic and had decent flavours of a rich red Indian curry. But this was let down by the toughness of the goat as it was not slow cooked in.
The naan and roti were both warmed before serving and assumed to be pre-made. Not terrible but lacks the fluffiness of a fresh roti.
The Bad
Not too much either, just the small portion size.
The Verdict
I guess everything was ‘just fine’. Nothing outlandish that would make hate it not me want to come back.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Not unless I’m out of new restaurants to try.
