The Good
The soft serve was silky smooth and the flavours strikes a good balance. The chocolate was not too dark for it to be bitter and not overly sweet either.
The Cookie Crumble was delicious. Crunchy, buttery choc chips cookies and complimented the soft serve well.
The Mediocre
The chocolate shards were not a disappointment either, overall nice but nothing remarkable.
The cone was rather ordinary though, not being particularly soft nor fluffy and was borderline stale.
The Bad
It’s a messy feed!
The Verdict
Overall a decent ice-cream that is let down by the doughnut cone. I’ve had Zumbo’s stuff and he has definitely done better in terms of pastries.
Would Penguin Eat Again?
Maybe. It’s just the novelty of the doughnut cone let’s be honest. Nothing was truly that remarkable apart from the ‘wow’ factor when you hold it in your hands.
