The Good
The Lindt Decadent Chocolate Milkshake was, as its name suggests, highly decadent. Made with Lindt’s own 70% dark chocolate, ice cream and of course more chocolate, the shake was appropriately thick and creamy. With a pleasant sweetness permeating throughout counterbalanced by the slight bitterness of the dark chocolate, this treat had just the right sweetness and didn’t feel overwhelmingly rich as we progressed.
We also enjoyed the Vanilla Intense Milkshake. With a strong milky flavour, the white chocolate within was forward and bold. This was well complemented by an ever-present vanilla aroma throughout. Coupled with light shavings of white chocolate topping off and mixed into the drink, the milkshake had a nice variation of texture.
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
Nothing.
The Verdict
While their chocolates are certainly one of all time favourites, and it’s encouraging that Lindt has translated this to pretty awesome milkshakes as well. For an indulgent chocolate milkshake, I’d honestly look no further.
