The Good

It was a lovely start to our brunch with the Turkish Omelette. The giant, hefty omelette was folded in half and enclosed a beautiful assortment of sweet caramelised onions, grilled bell peppers and delicious Turkish sausage. The sausages were thick cut and very meaty, offering up a bouncy sensation with plenty of flavour and a hint of spice, almost like a chorizo. Combined with fluffy and creamy scrambled egg holding it altogether as well as crunchy slices of toast, this was an outstanding breakfast dish!

The Platter didn’t disappoint either. With an excellent variety of salads and plenty of proteins to pick from, we were spoilt for choice. The Organic Moroccan Meatballs were definitely a highlight, so juicy and meaty with an exceptional herb marinated within and cooked in a rich and fragrant tomato base. Alongside sat the Organic Chicken Shish, which was roasted to a golden brown with bits of charring and offered up a fragrant and tender experience. To balance off the proteins, we opted for the trading all Tabouleh that was very fresh and aptly tangy, as well as a hearty cauliflower and chickpea salad. All combined with the smokey and earthy Babaganoush dip and pieces of pita, this was one platter just kept on impressing.

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad

Nothing.

The Verdict

Offering a distinctly Middle-Eastern twist to the humble brunch, Advieh is a cute local all-day eatery that serves up exceptional food compounded by warm and friendly service.
Their skilful twists to traditional breaky dishes like the omelette are simply exceptional, and of course, their house made Middle-Eastern staples like the Babaganoush and Meatballs are simply a must.
