The Good

Our brunch was off to a great start with the Spinach Waffle. The fresh off the press waffle carried a savoury flavour, with an earthiness thanks to the spinach mixed within. The crisp outer was matched by a fluffy and soft inner. The waffles were tooped with plenty of juicy, sauteed mushrooms and creamy goats cheese, and when combined with the tangy herb vinaigrette as well as a smokey red pepper relish, the flavours were simply irresistible. With the addition of crispy bacon rashers providing an exceptional crunch and salty sensation, of What a dish!

We also enjoyed the simple yet elegant Smashed Avo. Featuring a generous helping of smashed avo that was buttery and creamy, we found the flavours beautifully enhanced by the goats cheese and dukkah spices. With the yolk of a perfectly poached egg running down onto two slices of light and fluffy house baked multigrain toast, this was a suprisingly delicious take on a Melbourne breakfast staple.

The meal concluded with the gorgeous Hotcake Sandwich. Perched precariously with scoops of peanut butter ice cream within and on top, the stunning tower tasted every bit as tempting as it looked. The fluffy hotcakes exhibited a hint of crispness on the outer, with a spongy inner that served as the perfect vehicle to soak up and deliver the beautifully nutty peanut butter ice cream. With plenty of Oreo crumble providing crunch and fresh strawberries dotted throughout, this is surely a peanut butter lovers dream come true.

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad

Nothing.
