The Good

We were off to a fantastic start to our brunch with the Brekky Burger. The open burger was stunningly presented, piled high with an exceptionally light and fluffy scrambled eggs that were silky smooth, its creamy sensation beautifully accompanied by the bold chorizo ragu. Underneath sat a generous helping of fresh guacamole, it’s texture nicely contrasted by the crunchy of the thick house made hash brown that offered a fantastic crunch. All served in a fluffy, toasted buttery brioche and paired with a giant stick of crumbed halloumi, this was one giant breakfast burger that will cure the king of all hangovers.

We also enjoyed the Huevos Rotos. Served in a cast iron pan, this was akin to a Spanish Big Breakfast. Topping the pan were fluffy potatoes, thick cut jamon and crunchy pieces of fried bread Hidden underneath were two sunny fried eggs with crisp edges, accompanied by the once again flavoursome chorizo ragu. Rounding it all off were an abundance of sauteed spinach and cute dollops of avocado lime crema that offered up hints of freshness. A hearty and flavourful dish that just kept on giving.

Our meal concluded with the gorgeous Churros Waffle. Their waffle was of course freshly pressed and fried in house, which exhibited a crunchy, airy outer that’s dusted with plenty of cinnamon sugar, enclosing a soft, spongy inner that perfectly soaked up the thick, slightly dark chocolate fudge. Paired with plenty of mascarpone creating comforting sweetness, and rounded out by the tartness of berries and the crunch of hazelnuts, this dessert dish was just impeccably balanced and satisfied our sweet cravings.

The Mediocre

Nothing.

The Bad
