The Good
It was a pleasant start to our brunch with the Little Lamb Benedict. Featuring a soft and succulent lamb shoulder that had incredible flavour and such tenderness, the protein was easily the tastiest part of the dish. On top sat two perfectly poached eggs that had beautiful runny yolks, which was nicely accompanied by a creamy hollandaise sauce. Contrasting the richer components of the dish was the exceptionally tangy pickled cabbage, though this was a tad too sour for our palate.
We also enjoyed the “Smash Me” Avocado. Stunningly presented, the generous helping of smashed avo was fresh and creamy. This was accompanied by a giant leaf of crispy kale, as well as a refreshing zucchini herb salad that was light tasty. Holding it altogether was a very flavourful basil pesto, as well as the creamy and bold goats curd. This was a very appetising smashed avo for sure!
We concluded our brunch with the White Chocolate Daddy Waffles. The beautiful waffles were freshly pressed in house and exhibited a golden brown, almost charred crunchy outer. This was served with plenty of crunchy granola and popcorn, as well as fresh cuts of fruits. All of this was tied together by a sweet and decadent dulche de leche, though the inner of the waffles could’ve been a tad softer and spongier to soak up the delightful sauce.
The Mediocre
Nothing.
The Bad
Nothing.
