The Good
Classic Baked Egg was absolutely perfect execution. The eggs were semi-soft and still a tad runny, just as they should be. The dish was packed with plenty of chorizo, spinach, and mixed veggies, all tied together by a bell pepper sauce that was incredibly fragrant and appetising. The accompanying Focaccia sticks were a highlight, serving as the perfect vessel to soak up that flavourful sauce.
The Mediocre
The Harissa Chicken Sandwich was loaded with chicken that was tender and perfectly cooked, sitting on fresh, soft multigrain bread. The melted provolone cheese was light and paired nicely with the pickled cucumber, adding a good balance to the sandwich. While the sandwich was overall tasty, the harissa aioli lacked the expected kick. It could have definitely done with more heat to live up to its name.

The Verdict
A solid lunch spot in Northcote. The Classic Baked Egg is a standout dish with rich flavours and perfect textures. While the Harissa Chicken Sandwich was tasty and fresh, it played it a little too safe on the spice level.
